The exterior appearance and style of your front door remains unchanged and you can still use your original key from your existing deadbolt to lock/unlock your door as a backup.

The interior style of Kevo convert is identical to the Kevo 2nd Generation Touch-To-Open smart lock. It is sleeker and significantly smaller than the original Kevo smart lock.

Yes. Kevo 2nd Generation is a full smart lock and it requires the replacement of the full lock. Kevo Convert uses your exist deadbolt and it replaces your interior turn piece.

Yes. Kevo Convert is compatible with Kevo Plus. Kevo Plus enables remote access features so you can connect to Kevo Convert from anywhere where you have a working internet connection. It includes the Bluetooth® enabled Gateway and Kevo Plus remote service.

Yes. Kevo Convert is compatible with other smart home products, i.e. Nest Thermostats, select Honeywell Wi-Fi Thermostats, Ring Video Doorbell, Skybell Video Doorbell and Android Wear. Click here for more details.

At this time, the Kevo app can only be paired to Android Wearables on Android Wear 1.0 OS.

Simply log into the Kevo mobile app on another smartphone or into the Kevo web portal and disable or delete your phone. You will need to use your a standard key to unlock the door until you retrieve or replace your phone.

If your phone battery dies, you can always use a standard key to unlock your door. You can also sign into the app on another supported smartphone, and your eKeys will be instantly transferred to it.
