Why does my Home Connect 620 lock status in the Alarm.com App or Web Portal not match the status on my Qolsys panel? Example: The panel will show “unlocked”, however the app will show “locked”
Due to out-of-date software on the Qolsys panel, some Alarm.com users may experience communication errors when using the lock remotely via the Alarm.com app or Alarm.com web portal. Typically, panel software is updated to the latest version during the installation process. In instances where a panel has not been updated, users could see a number of errors while using the Alarm.com app to control the Kwikset their Home Connect 620 lock. It is important to note that the communication between the Kwikset Home Connect 620 lock and the Qolsys panel is unaffected.
We recommend upgrading QoIsys panel software to the latest version to ensure full functionality while using Kwikset Home Connect 620 lock with the Alarm.com app. Please see instructions below.
