I liked it so well that I recently purchased installed one myself. If If had any issue it would have been exactly duplicating the ones that were purchased for me. They don’t put an actual part number on the box, just a series number. Even though the lot looks the same you can for example buy a Z wave or Z wave plus and the number for example 914 series is the same. Luckily the vendor left behind the old box so I could read it.

Kwikset is a quality company. You get what you pay for. Good product from a great company

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from NO MORE KEYS! If you run or are out of your pad alot, you need this. No more forgetting keys, no more turning your car off to take your keys to open the door. I will never go back to key entry. Five Stars. Easy setup. You might have to fidget with the deadbolt fitting your current insert, but pretty stoked. And it looks great, it modernizes the entrance.........

  • Using the 264 lock how do I ensure that someone can not leave the house as well as not gain access to the house without a keypad code?

    For Model 926 Deadbolt.  Can’t get Door Handling Process to initialize upon initial installation.  Keypad is working. Lock will reset to default PC/UC.  However, I get 3 red blinks/beeps after entering 0000, K, 0, K.  1-touch lock also not working.

    Installed model 264 without any issues. Was able to setup Programming code. Also able to install a user code. However I cannot install additional user codes. Following the instructions gives me three beeps. What am I doing wrong?

    I bought a home with this lock. No one can tell me how to use it. I have tried the key but it will not lock. When I push the Kwikset button it sounds like it's locking but does not. It makes the sound again, flashes red and doesn't lock. Can some one help

    once installed it does not turn smoothly it clicks once u enter the code but does not turn the bolt to open - followed all directions - when testing with the key it functions smoothly but once installed it does not.. HELP

    Hello nikki L, The mounting plate is placing tension on the torque blade. Remove the interior assembly from the mounting plate, loosen the screws on the mounting plate and reposition the plate so there is no tension on the cylinder torque blade.
