    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Lock Received this as a Christmas present. Installation was extremely easy and fast. After installation I had an issue with the lock working correctly. I took it off and reinstalled it in a matter of minutes, to no avail. I called the support number and they walked me thru the troubleshooting process. Come to fine out it had a defective motor. They immediately replaced the whole unit without any issues at all! Delivered within 10 days. Most of the time I would have been a little upset, but Kwikset handled this situation so well, I ended up extremely happy! Koodos to Kwikset!

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super convenient I been using this lock for about a year. Works perfectly and so simple to use. It’s nice to leave your house and not have to bring keys! If your car is running and you forgot something back in the house, you don’t have to shut car off, just push your code and your in. Super convenient. If you have a dog and your running late you can give a temporary code to a friend or relative so they can let the dog out.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super easy to install and LOVE Smartkey I bought this as a compromise between fancy Bluetooth locks and electronic locks. We love the 30 second auto-lock feature so we don't wonder whether or not the door is locked. The Smartkey is a great way to re-key the lock to match existing keys. It is easy. This lock also takes combinations up to 9 digits. It makes us feel more secure. Unfortunately the first lock we installed failed within 6 months (electronic issue), but tech support handled it quickly and replaced within a few days.

  • For any reason if batteries are not working, can I unlock with included key?

    We have a kwikset smartcode 913. We installed it tonight and programmed it. It is working fine except the auto lick feature is not working. How do we enable that?

    Hi I bought 2 of the 913 smartlocks. One works great! The other one seems to bind or catch as you lock it with the key. If you try to use the electronic lock button it makes a sound but doesn't lock. Did I do something with install?
