  • Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really Great Lo k Customer service was excellent. I did have a problem with the set-up of my first lock. I contacted customer service to see if they could assist me with the install. They ended up sending a replacement which came really quick. Now the lock is up and running as advertised. No more leaving keys behind rocks, forgetting to lock the door, nor locking myself out of the house. Because it's a kwikset lock I was able to rekey a key that was already on my key chain. Not another key to add to the chain. I would strongly recommend this lock. It was very easy to install and I'm happy with the product as well as the excellent customer service.

    after trying to reregister my new lock i asked mre for the store reciept and all i did was exchange the older lock for the new one how can i find the reciept from my older purchase ?Thanks

    I have a problem, the set screw for the outside lever is to short it wont thread in to the hole.

    Is this a zigbee

    Hello Russ82465, No, the 911 is not Home Connect compatible. You will need to purchase the 912. SmartCode locks are equipped with Z-Wave or Zigbee technology. In order for a Z-Wave or ZigBee device to work remotely, you need to be paired with a Z-Wave or ZigBee controller. The controller is the main gateway to control all your Z-Wave or ZigBee devices.     What temperatures can this lock handle? We have an exposed exterior door that can see extreme temps in the winter.

    I just installed this lock and it is working, but after i put in my code the lock beeps about 8-10 times and flashes red. Also the status LED is blinking green/red. What does this mean?
