Easy Simple To Use
Had trouble with the old electronic lock (made in China for Kwikset). Kwikset replaced the old lock with a model that they make. All I can say is that the new one works excellent in all aspects.

Beautiful and so convenient!

The interior side is designed for exterior use and should be undercover protected from the elements. The exterior can be installed on an outside door but not be exposed to direct weather.

I had this SmartCode working perfect in an letf door. I just re-locate to a new home with a right door. The handle gets jam. I move the handle, and it made a click sound as if the system is designed for another position, but it doesn't work either.

Is this door hardware/ entry lock able to operate with a 26-bit Wiegand format card reader?

This model is not Home Connect compatible. You will need to purchase a 910. SmartCode locks are equipped with Z-Wave or Zigbee technology. In order for a Z-Wave or ZigBee device to work remotely, you need to be paired with a Z-Wave or ZigBee controller. The controller is the main gateway to control all your Z-Wave or ZigBee devices. You need to research different controllers in the market and find which one best suits your needs.
