  • Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Lock! This deadbolt is very convenient. We use the light indicator at night to verify the deadbolt is locked. We have several codes programmed for different people. We use rechargeable batteries and swap every 6 months or so. Have recommended and would again.

The finish was starting to show some wear after four years in the NW Florida humidity; I contacted Kwikset and with minimal effort, they quickly provided a replacement! I am a lifelong customer now, keep up the good work!

Called customer service and immediately a new lock was sent. Ironically there was a keypad defect in new lock. Called again and second replacement was sent. New lock installed and works perfectly! EXCELLENT service and follow through. Highly recommended and will stick with their products for life!

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Far better than expected! Our old locks broke. We hoped to fix it with replacement parts because we loved it. Kwikset told us our lock had been discontinued 5 years earlier but sent us new upgrades due to the lifetime warranty and we were thrilled to find we liked these even more! The easy smart key technology allowed us to re-key all the locks to just one key instead of the 3 we had to carry before! Of course the electronics work flawlessly as well. I am and will remain dedicated to Kwikset forever! Thank you Kwikset for your awesome service and products!

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great with Samsung Smatrtthing Hub Installation was clearly described and went in very easy. Programming the pass codes was very easy and also described perfectly. Really liked the ability to program so many (30) entry codes, both short and long (8 keys) along with a master code. Was easy to pair with my Samsung Smartthings Hub. Should have installed these locks years ago. Also easy to rekey, less than a minute with Kwikset's Smartkey. It is so handy to be able to lock/unlock/see status from anywhere. Friends and relatives love not having to carry an extra key, and possibly loose it, to gain entry as needed. Again, love the locks!

  • How do I get the master code if I lost the paperwork and receipt to my doorlock

    I have had this lock for 3 years and last week I was pushing buttons to reset it and now it is locking on both sides. I actaully have to click it then it moves easy. But I cannot get it to reset or work. I have tried the factory reset 5 times.

    I cannot enter the 4 number for the user code. It beeps 3 times after the 3rd number. I am not using any same number or button.

    I installed all parts. When it came time to test the key it would not turn. I tried what instructions said and loosened the 2 bolts. Key is still not turning. Is there a way to test keys? Please help.

    Which keyless entry locks are suitable for exterior use?
