  • Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great lock and fabulous support I LOVE this lock. No more worrying that my kids didn't lock the door. No more worrying that someone doesn't have a key. No fumbling in the dark to get a key in the lock when we didn't leave the porch lights on. My lock stopped working after 6 months and I replaced the batteries but still couldn't get it running. I called customer support. They quickly diagnosed that there was a problem with the motor and said they would send me a new lock if I logged into a website and posted a couple of pictures of my lock. I did that and soon after received a new lock. I cannot say enough good things about this company and its customer service. P.S. the SmartKey feature was also fabulous because I did not have to have new keys made for all my kids.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great deadbolt with auto lock. I forgot to lock the door for the last time. The auto lock feature is great. I installed two on my doors. Fairly easy set-up. Just make sure that you follow the steps carefully. I needed a different latch for one door. It was sent free and when I needed help to readjust the lock the service rep was excellent. If you get stuck just call.

  • Is it possible to purchase the battery compartment that gets inserted into the interior housing. Mine was lost in moving the lock from one home to our new one.

    How do you order a non chiseled drive- in door latch? I have tried to speak to a human on your 800 line and always get put on eternal hold. Crazy that for the cost of a Smartcode 909 you do not include both latches.

    What is the ANSI rating on this lock?  Does it come in a double cylinder lock? If not, do you have any keyless licks that come in double cylinder? Thank you

    When I try to set codes  the lock beeps then it locks open and keeps clicking can’t even use key at this time sounds like it wants to work but only un locks and won’t lock

    Can this lock (909) work remotely so I can lock when away from home?

    Hello smiller0826, No, this lock is not Home Connect compatible. You will need to purchase a 910. SmartCode locks are equipped with Z-Wave or Zigbee technology. In order for a Z-Wave or ZigBee device to work remotely, you need to be paired with a Z-Wave or ZigBee controller. The controller is the main gateway to control all your Z-Wave or ZigBee devices.     Installed a 909 dead bolt on start up it cycles 3 times with 4 clicks between each movement and always ends in the lock position and a solid red light.
