    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well with Smartthings I have two units, and one was a bit problematic to start where batteries would drain within a month. Two replacement units were sent, and the second finally solved the issue and has worked extremely well. Long story short - if your batteries are lasting less than 6 months (I've been using NiMH rechargeables since Nov without recharging them) contact support and let them know. Otherwise, having my doors auto lock/unlock based on whether we're home or not is killer, and remote unlock for when friends or neighbors need to get in while we're away is equally excellent.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from fantastic have this product for over 3 years, I love it, I set the alarm system overtime I lock the door and turns it off when I unlock the door, I can give a code to a friend when out of town and change it when i'm back, don't have to give an alarm code.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bought TWO Bought two of these, one I have not had to change batteries, the other one changed 4 times because for no reason after a month the keys flash red and it starts beeping for about 15 seconds, then it works OK, then it will do it again and agai about a week apart. Does it with new batteries or old.I love the locks, but one is frustrating!

It was exactly what I needed at the price I wanted but it works on and off. The first couple months after I got it, it wouldn't read a signal or unlock the door it took replacing the battery almost immediately to correct the issue.

With the KWIKSET 910 no hassle with the eternal questions of where is the key? Or Which key fits this lock? Issue a code. Bingo...you're through! And IF all else fails, yes, you still can use the key (once you find it).

I can unlock this from any where in the world. I also could easily re-key these to my existing locks. Easy to use, LOVE IT I use my Apple Iphone to unlock my doors

    Rated 3 out of 5 by from Inconsistent Reliability We love the feature of never needing a key and also of being able to create codes for others when needed. We have four of these devices and have found their performance to be inconsistent regarding battery life we have returned two of the devices but are now having the same problem with a third unit, formerly our best performing unit. For the most part, we get approximately one year of service on the four batteries before they have to be changed out. We have now had three units that fail (run down the batteries) after only ten to fifteen uses. The most recent one to run into problems is the one we use on our garage. It had always been our best unit but, over the past few months, its performance has fallen sharply. We've been told that we may not use rechargeable batteries in these units. We end up going through a lot of batteries having four units. We've tried different brands of batteries which seems to make no difference. We want to change the one out on our garage for something better but not sure what to look at and these units are not inexpensive.

  • I installed a keypad pad and I can't get the back light to work on the pads. Any advice?

    For the past month my alarm has a long beep after pushing the lock button and it takes longer for our door to lock and unlock than it had been. Today when I got home none of the buttons work at all. I changed batteries but still nothing.

    The battery pack snapped on the side when I was removing a battery.  I have glued it back together, but the lock seems to chew through batteries like crazy.  Replacing every week almost.  Where can I find a new battery pack?

    hi 1. what is a Z-Wave Configuration? 2.do I have to pay extra to use the website to check is the door is locked? 3.on the door instalation is it different for deadbolt with Z-Wave Configuration?

    Hello Rosa,Z-wave is a motor-driven deadbolt latch allows for true remote locking and unlocking. For cost you will have to contact you hub/controller dealer. The installation is the same as a standard door preparation, bore hole 2-1/8", thickness of door 1-3/8" - 1-3/4" and backset 2-3/8"-2-3/4".Thank you,Kwikset Support

    I have a 910 Zwave. How do I program more than 2 codes? It says in the instructions on this website to just push the program button three times to program the third code. But it only seems to work with code #1 and #2?

    How do I replace batteries?  After replacing batteries nothing works. Any ideas?
