    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product Matchted to VERALITE I bought this product with my VERALITE controller in June 2015. The product has as advertised and I have seen no battery drain. I must say the Vera controller and their FREE control web site are good. The VERA interface is a little clunky, but as you learn you way around, it is really good.The one drawback on this product is the documentation is terrible. Using the VERA website identifies so many option that you do not see in the documentation for the loc. Example remote programing codes, time windows on codes, notifications of lock actions, etc.! month in, I recommend this to someone who likes to tinker with technology. Not for a layman.

Very convenient not having to search for your key in the dark, and also to give friends or contractors access with the flexibility of being able to conveniently change access codes, if necessary.Only drawbacks are having to replace batteries periodically (maybe once a year? Not that bad, although I hate creating more waste), and sometimes the strike plate and bolt don't line up correctly due to swelling and contraction of the foundation of our house, which causes the deadbolt to give an error. This has more to do with my own personal circumstances...Otherwise a great product. Highly recommend.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best (and easiest) way to get a Smart Home! This lock is the best way to get a smart home. And it's so easy! Once you buy this lock, all you have to do is get a z-wave compatible hub. Staples Connect or Wink are two that are under $50! then you have remote access to see not only the status of the lock anytime, anywhere, but you can also assign temporary user codes all in the app! And it is DEAD SIMPLE! You will love it, I know I do. I have three at my house, and my entire family loves it, too. And with SmartKey, it can match your other keys (but you won't really need them, anymore).

Because they are connected to my Zwave home network I can remotely check if they are locked and lock or unlock them as needed and get alerts if they are changed or tampered with. Have given several out to friends and family as gifts. Would definitely recommend.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features This Deadbolt work great & looks good. I set it up to turn on lights and text me someone unlocks the door and again when locked from the outside it turn off the lights and text me again. I have had the lock for about two years and it shows no wear at all.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product! I bought this over a year ago. Works perfectly with my Iris home security system from Lowe's. Only issues I have had with it are; when i first linked it to my Iris hub it would not take it because Kwikset tests them before they package it and they did not reset it after so it can be linked to a new source. Second issue i have with it is the battery life should be longer in my opinion. In the approximately 12 months i have owned it i have replaced the 4 AA batteries twice already.

The great thing about the products is with each upgrade I've purchased, the technology, appearance, features and value just keep getting better and better. I love the ability to lock, unlock or just verify I have left my home secure from my smart phone or lap top at the touch of a button. In two words, I love it!!!

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Z-wave Deadbolt I use this deadbolt for our front door. It is very convenient to be able to lock and unlock the door without any key. I have also programmed my primary z-wave controller to lock my external doors in the middle of the night, just in case. I can check the status of the locks and switch them even when I am not at home. With this deadbolt, I feel more secure.

  • I installed a keypad pad and I can't get the back light to work on the pads. Any advice?

    For the past month my alarm has a long beep after pushing the lock button and it takes longer for our door to lock and unlock than it had been. Today when I got home none of the buttons work at all. I changed batteries but still nothing.

    The battery pack snapped on the side when I was removing a battery.  I have glued it back together, but the lock seems to chew through batteries like crazy.  Replacing every week almost.  Where can I find a new battery pack?

    hi 1. what is a Z-Wave Configuration? 2.do I have to pay extra to use the website to check is the door is locked? 3.on the door instalation is it different for deadbolt with Z-Wave Configuration?

    Hello Rosa,Z-wave is a motor-driven deadbolt latch allows for true remote locking and unlocking. For cost you will have to contact you hub/controller dealer. The installation is the same as a standard door preparation, bore hole 2-1/8", thickness of door 1-3/8" - 1-3/4" and backset 2-3/8"-2-3/4".Thank you,Kwikset Support

    I have a 910 Zwave. How do I program more than 2 codes? It says in the instructions on this website to just push the program button three times to program the third code. But it only seems to work with code #1 and #2?

    How do I replace batteries?  After replacing batteries nothing works. Any ideas?
