Please Note: Version 2.3.1 resolves the issue where the Android Kwikset App required Precise Location sharing. This issue does not affect iOS users. Android users, please update to version 2.3.1. Learn more about Location sharing here.

• Feature Improvements:

• Auto-Unlock by Distance (Geofence)

  • Automatically unlock the door as you approach the home. Enable this feature in Lock Settings. This feature is available for all Halo lock models (not supported for the Aura lock).

• New Support Menu

  • Access all support resources conveniently from the Main Menu. This includes, Consumer Support contacts, FAQ support page access, Legal document links, Installation Guides (previously located in Lock Settings) and Release Notes.

• New Feature Highlight Screen

  • View the major new features added in the release, after an App update. This includes a link to the Release Notes for a complete list of changes.

• Amazon Smart Reordering

  • For users who have integrated their Kwikset account with Alexa, this feature allows you to receive low battery notifications from Alexa and order replacement batteries from Amazon marketplace. • Functional Improvements:

• Added Support for Additional LATAM Countries

  • Users in the following regions will now be able to download, register and access the Kwikset App. Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Bonaire, Cayman Islands, Curaçao and St. Maarten

• Improved User Interface

  • + Menu Redesign - Enhanced with option to add both new Access Codes to the Lock and New Shared Users to the Home.

  • Lock Settings Page Details - Additional descriptions and title updates have been added to each setting for improved clarity.

• Overall Performance Improvements and Bug Fixes

  • General performance enhancements and various bug fixes have been implemented for a better user experience.

• Feature Improvements:

• Improved Lock Access Management

  • You can now limit access to specific locks within a home when adding new home users. Lock Access and Schedule Type are new options available when adding new home users. These can be updated at any time.

• Paired Devices Option in Lock Settings

  • View all devices that are paired to your lock. To access this feature, ensure your phone is within Bluetooth range of the lock, approximately 25 feet.

• Functional Improvements:

• Added support for three additional LATAM countries: Bolivia, Belize, and Venezuela

  • Users in this region will now be able to download, register, and access the Kwikset App.

• More responsive status updates when using the Amazon Alexa app or Alexa-enabled devices to control your lock

• Overall performance improvements and bug fixes
